The HPE MRU SPD omits references to Fibre Channel and related, but does 
list FC-connected tape devices as being supported.

SPOCK and ilk would have been the reference to consult for most of 
these questions, though OpenVMS inclusion in that and related 
now-at-HPE hardware-support databases waned some years ago, and VSI 
doesn't seem to have a replacement reference online quite yet.
