I was working for Digital at the time the Oracle sale happened and I
can also ensure that none of the DECset products were part of that
deal.
I just vaguely remember that at that time, Digital sub-contracted the
maintenance of DECset to a third party company. Not sure anymore about
the name of that company, EDS comes to mind but far from certain, but
in any case, Digital always retained ownership.
