   My latest hobbyist download credentials have faded, so I
can't easily verify what's there now.  ".bck" does suggest a
BACKUP save set, but you can expect some difficulty dealing
with a bare save set after you fetch it, because BACKUP is
fussy about file attributes, and FTP and HTTP typically won't
preserve them.  Possibly useful:

   The "bck.1" seems to be the result of a (sloppy) file
transfer (by someone at HPE) from a VMS file system
("VAXVMS-TCPIP-V0503.BCK;1"?) to a non-VMS file system, where
the version number (";1") got converted to something less
VMS-like.
