Info also runs on a character cell terminal and is much more usable
than VMS help.

I can't believe I wrote that :-), but it's true.

For one thing, you have keyword/incremental search in Info as
well as selectable links to other parts of a manual when you
are using Info to find information buried within a full manual.

I am thinking about the various character cell options available
on Linux.
