The US Military (and I expect  most other major miltaries as
well) live entirely on UTC (called Zulu time as the International
designation for the Greenwich Time Zone is "Z").  To this day
I still wear a watch with both local (in my case Romeo) and
Zulu time.  It is also handy for Amateur Radio work.  Probably
no reason why the whole world couldn't settle on UTC and learn
to live with it.  :-)
