While true, we should also remember, that in todays world, unless it is a small site, there are very few companies that are only using 1 type of OS platform. There is always some group that says "we really need XYZ application and the vendor says their preferred OS platform is [insert your favourite OS]"
The days of Windows only or Linux only or OpenVMS only or UNIX only platforms etc. are long gone for most med-large companies.
