Not surprising. The Visual Studio product is completely unrelated to
Visual Studio Code, despite sounding similar. VSCode (as it's usually
abbreviated) is available here:
<https://code.visualstudio.com>
VSCode is an Electron app. Visual Studio is by now a .Net product,
written in C#, though probably with some C++ still in the mix. Visual
Studio for macOS is the former Xamarin Studio with some modifications,
though fuller parity with the Windows version is still in the works.
In any case once you've got VSCode, Shift-Command-X will bring up
extensions search, and entering "OpenVMS" will bring up the OpenVMS_DCL
extension. So far no searches on "vms-ide" "VMS IDE" or "vmssoftware"
turn up anything, but it's probably not actually uploaded to the
marketplace yet.
