It would also be necessary to source and acquire large numbers of "old new stock" 80 pin SCSI drives for the DS10L, DS15 and RX2600 units. (two per system)
That's a serious challenge given that such disk products have ceased manufacture several years ago.

The drives on the second system would need to be "long term production quality"
since it would be too dangerous to move the new data on the second node back to the old drives on the first node later.
