For performance, it's not much cheaper than the DL380 and it as has a whole
lot more drive configuration options. My suspicion is that if they target
the DL380 and have all the drivers for the DL380 that the DL360 will come along

Right now I am very very pissed off about the DL380 Gen9, because the new
RAID controllers will not recognize SATA or SAS disks that do not have
HP's signature on them. So instead of buying a disk from Seagate I have to
buy the same disk rebadgaed by HP at twice the price. Or I have to throw
out the HP raid controller and install a Dell one, which I can do with Linux
no problem but which is likely to be an issue with VMS.
I do not know if this "new technology" has been continued into the Gen10
but it caused us to move to Dell and Supermicro for a lot of our newer
systems.
