Yes; folks have tried booting HPE OpenVMS V8.4 on Integrity i4 servers.
 And some have succeeded.

HPE OpenVMS V8.4 with the current UPDATE will probably-boot on a
minimally-configured Integrity rx2800 i4 server.

Whether anyone has test an i6 here? Or an i4 or i6 blade?

Given the similarities between i4 and i6, it seems a
minimally-configured Integrity rx2800 i6 might also probably-boot.

I'd expect to require V8.4 UPDATE V6.0 minimally.

V8.4 UPDATE V12.0 is probably still current, but I haven't checked.

Might need to add a supported NIC or a different storage controller,
depending on what issues might be encountered.

IIRC, the Core I/O NIC support was a problem area for OpenVMS boot
support on at least some of the Integrity configurations.

Given the lack of support for any of these configurations, I'd doubt
that HPE would want to hear about any issues found.

This also given the recently-reported end of the HPE resales agreement
for VSI OpenVMS releases, too.

Everybody planning to stay with OpenVMS should be migrating to VSI
anyway, given the end of new-patch support at HPE in less than two
years.
