When I stuck my head into Clair's office, he was stepping through the RMS $PARSE code.  It was returning an error back to LIB$FILE_SCAN so he was stepping through the Macro-32 code that does the logical name translation, etc.  I'm waiting for a shout when he finds the Macro-32 bug for me to fix. :) :)
