Not the most current, and with some comparatively unusual packaging, 
but it can and does work.

Python 2.7.13 (2016-12-17) is available for OpenVMS I64 (arrived 2018-10-20).

More recent updates to some of the associated Python packages.

Python 2.7.15 (2018-05-01) is the current version of the 2.7 series.

Python 3.7.2 (2018-12-24) is the current release.

All Python versions prior to Python 3 are falling off of patch support 
this year.
