Very distinct.

DECnet (Phase IV) : ethertype 0x6003, routable via 16 bit DECnet addresses
LAT : ethertype 0x6004, non-routeable, use just MAC addresses

And I may add that LAT is a very sensitive protocol. Any network
problem and it will timeout. Even too many bridges could make
it timeout.
