Well, after beating our collective heads against the wall
for a week I think I finally have the answer.

I was able to mount the CD on my VAX running VMS.  This let me
move all the PS Docs over to a machine where I could actually
read them.

Remember my earlier comment about the disks having the line
"not a system disk" on them.  I now believe this is correct.
I do not think any of these images are bootable.  They are
UPDATE Disks.  You must have a running Infoserver in order
to update to 3.5.

Someone mentioned having a bootable disk in their SPL.  I went
thru all the disks in one of my SPL's from the same period of
time and none of them are bootable.  So, I guess the next
question is where do I find install media for an earlier
version so I can get it up and then upgrade it to 3.5?  Sigh.
