Same here.

I also added absolute paths, but using the config manager.
And saving the CFG file in a known directory.

I also just got the "dummy" and "ask" options. Never any real NIC.

In my case it might some conflict with other VPN or Citrix software.
My plan is to try with a spare laptop not used for anything else.
