   VMS mail doesn't know what an atachment is.  Using it, and similar
   systems, we would UUENCODE the file, mail it, and UUDECODE it on the
   other end.

   You should be able to find UUENCODE and UUDECODE on the 'net for VMS
   and most other platforms.
