Just for general interest ...

Southcott, a company based in Adelaide in South Australia, is seeking a "VAX-VMS Customer Support Specialist".

You need a right to work in Australia, which will block some applicants, but what caught my eye was the job description.

"We offer an opportunity for a skilled VAXVMS programmer  to assist the business to increase its development time by supporting the current VAX/VMS Version V5.5-2H4 running under Charon-VAX emulation on a Proliant Server, with administration specialist support."

VAX !
VMS 5.5-2H !
Emulated on a Proliant !

Is this kind of set-up common now ?
