In regards to ACMS being 'pretty rare', a number of Telco's used to use it

Now ACMS desktop (TP connector or something like that I think it got called later?), which was a good concept I thought, was pretty rare. I don't know if it was politics or licensing or something else, but one place that had ACMS and could have used ACMS desktop for it's Windows application component, resorted to screen scraping instead 8-/

I didn't know the military used ACMS though, that's interesting
