I've seen, 20 years ago, SAP consultants costing $300/hr.  Cost savings? 
  Yeah, right!

Something that runs a business in a manner that provides special 
benefits is what keeps customers coming back.  Only a Harvard Business 
School bean counter who doesn't actually know the business would 
advocate such a move.  They have ruined many businesses, but, there 
always seems to be more employers who think highly of the degree, and 
the idiot moves on.
