I agree with David

Information is good, it gives insight into the evening going on and it also stops speculation that nothing is happening

What I find most refreshing is the truth in the feedback. No marketing executive BS, just days from a technical perspective, even disclosing some of the 'cheats' taken to get first boot done

If this is the sort of honesty we are seeing now, then there is hope once things start to roll that feedback given to enhance VMS later will not fall on deaf ears or ignored as a non issue or worse, hidden (*cough*, defcon...)

While the post shows that they're is still a lot of work to be done, I find the honesty aspect extremely encouraging

Sadly, I don't work with VMS anymore but I do give updates to others I work with about the port now and then. Through that feedback mechanism, one person commented to me that had they know VMS was even still alive they might have been influential in postponing or even stopping a port away from a VMS application

Please keep the honest and transparent feedback coming
