This isn't the place to ask for anything different.  If someone wishes 
for something different, then present that to VSI.

This isn't something I need, or want.  Still, it might be good for tire 
kickers who don't have VMS HW.

I too hope for better.  But there may be some legal issues.  I'm not 
sure VSI has the right to issue VAX hobbyist stuff.  VSI has released 
V8.4 2L1 and 2L2, which they have the right to distribute.  What they 
may do remains to be seen.  But for VAX, maybe a problem, and, for a 
hobbyist, I think VAX would be the higher priority.
