But this is what Avanti tells you based on the configuration - it
reports what has been configured, not necessarily what the emulator is
really capable of. I suspect that the instructions added in EV6 are
available despite what it tells the user when asked. The experiment with
CHARON-AXP seems to confirm this assumption.
I don't know how Rdb checks for EV56 or above - presumably it uses the
same source as SHOW CPU and does not explicitly test whether specific
instructions are available or not. Of course I can be wrong.
