Unless there is a major change in the legal system self
driving cars will die on the vine.  The answer of liability
has yet to be answered.  I, for one, would refuse to accept
any liability for a vehicle I can not control.  If all
liability falls back on the auto vendors they will be out
of business in less than a year no matter how low the accident
rate becomes.

Racing?  Well, there is always R/C cars.  :-)
