You mean it has widgets that look like widgets and that you don't have
to click on parts of the screen at random to determine what is and
is not clickable ? :-)

While it looks yucky, it is also way more usable than some of the
UI designs which are around these days.

I also dislike this move to low contrast colour schemes; I do not find
them as nice to use as the traditional colour schemes.
