Port over the PostScript to Text tool ps2txt, and off you go...

There are folks still using DECwriter III LA-120 printers with OpenVMS, too.

Been tempted to reconnect an LA120 as a console, and then record the 
sound from triggering an OpenVMS bug check, as a different ringtone for 
my phone.
