Obviously, if it is not available, the cost doesn't matter. :-)
Rdb folks have said publicly that if VMS runs on x86, then Rdb would.
Has that changed?
My guess is that well more than half of VMS revenue come from people who
run Rdb (and thus generate a similar amount of revenue for Oracle).
