What I understood was that VMware wasn't interested, at the time, in
supporting VMS. Things can change.
But think about it. I do believe VMware is owned by Dell. However,
everyone is talking about HPE servers for x86 VMS. What incentive would
Dell have to support a competitor?
As for the VirtualBox I'm running here, I'm not thrilled by it. Takes a
bit of time to start up an instance. I'm sure not pushing it, so I
don't know how it would be in production. But, works sure beats nothing.
As for the emulators, they are NOT running on the VM, they are running
on an OS that is running on the VM.
