That is sort of an "it depends" issue. VirtualBox is not necessarily
VirtualBox. It has different capabilities on different host OSes.
I would say that VirtualBox under Windows is not good enough for
production. Under Windows, VirtualBox is not able to automatically
start and stop instances with host startup/shutdown.
Under other OSes, this isn't a problem (as long as startup/shutdown
operations can be scripted) and I don't have a problem using VirtualBox
for production.
