   It was a cluster that kept the application up for 17 years. 
   Individual systems were rebooted, added to the cluster, and removed
   from the cluster.  But quorum was never lost.

   The longest uptime of an individual system was not the Irish
   Railroad, is supposed to have been 14 years, then it got shut down,
   powered off, and moved to a different office location.  Don't
   recall who made that claim, or if it was ever substantiated.  Did
   have a good UPS.
