After installing the V8.0 JDK, this is the sequence that seems to build the V8.0 JRE Saveset container files.

Like the .COM file name :-)

SYS$SYSDEVICE:[VMS$COMMON.java$80.com]java$80_build_jre_savesets.com SYS$SYSDEVICE:[VMS$COMMON.java$80]

The resulting files are deposited to the default directory at execution time:

JRE-V80-1.A;1                160902/160912    
JRE-V80-1.B;1                 88641/88656
