It appears the client-side security options offered by VMS are no longer
good enough for the SSH server. If so, this is a known problem.

I am surprised at Multinet not working however. I thought it supported
the current recommended options but I may be wrong about that.

Is that a recent Multinet version or does Multinet also have problems
talking to current SSH implementations ?
