I am pretty sure they will be supported. Just not right away, they are
different. For example VMS had a bunch of different CPU_ROUTINES_XXX images
for VAX, VMS loading the correct one for the actual VAX it is on. Already
X86 VMS has several SYSTEM_PRIMITIVES_XXX.EXE images for different variants
of (Intel) processors/virtual systems.
