How did you get one of those?  :-)

As previously pointed out, the VMS boot CD-ROM and DVD image files are 
not ISO images.

Some tools do not distinguish between the image format and ISO image 
format and will burn a VMS disk image properly when told to burn an ISO 
image.

Others will only burn a VMS disk image if they are told to burn a raw 
image file.  These tend to be the more full featured CD/DVD burning 
programs.

If you tell them you to burn a VMS disk image as an ISO, they will 
create an ISO that contains one file, the Alpha VMS disk image.  Not 
very usable.

The same tools when burning an IA64 boot image, which is dual ISO / VMS 
image format will only burn the IS0 portion, again leaving you with just 
a coaster.
