[Info-vax] bizarre SEARCH bug (7.3-2 Alpha)

I just tried the reproducer on an Alpha with V7.3-2 and it worked as expected with both sets of brackets being highlighted.  I can't easily get the patch list here (it it on an isolated network using hardwired terminals).  

I would check your patch level and perhaps scan the patch docs for any "fixes" to DCL for something that sounds like this.
