Clustering from the bottom up rather than the top down, built-in 
low-level file-versioning system, nice MAIL utility (much better than 
many others I have used: Outlook, Lotus Notes, Pine, Elm, web-based 
email, etc), support for the very nice LK keyboards, the wonderful EDT 
editor, and so on.  None of that really available elsewhere.
