I don't get it...
I started with EDT on RSX-11M on VT52. Then moved over to VT100 up
to VT520 while moving to VMS. The last 20 years I have used whatever
keyboard by work computer/laptop happend to have. Still using EDT
with no issues.
All my laptops having a separate numeric keypad (I don't buy anything
else) have work just well with EDT. Or any cheap BT keyboard/mouse
connected to my laptop.
I don't even remember if some keys was in some different position
on the VTxxx or "LK" keyboards and I just couldn't care less...
And, b.t.w., I still make a good living from VMS work and intend to
do so until my retirement.
