There most definitely is a limit for the RX2800i2 when running on 110 VAC
(which, in the USA is usually around 125-130 VAC). I know than a
single-processor RX2800i2 with 64 Gb does runs on (nominal) 110VAC. An
RX2800i2 with two processors, two power supplies and 256 GB memory exhibits
symptoms similar to what Snoweshoe described. FWIW.
