Just so I understand this, are you saying that new major releases
within the _same_ architecture will no longer be available as part
of the VSI support contract ?

I'm not familiar with how the Itanium contracts are handled by HPE,
but in the Alpha systems, you used to be able to purchase the right
to upgrade as part of your support contracts.

Is that no longer the case for VSI, and if so, do you at least get
a _major_ discount on the new VSI VMS version ?

Do VSI require you to purchase and upgrade to the latest VSI VMS
version before they will sell you a new support contract when your
existing contract becomes due for renewal ?

Simon.
