[Info-vax] ssh error

What is the source of this error?

   sys$system:tcpip$ssh_ssh2.exe: FATAL: ssh_io_register_fd:fd 3 already registered!

(Actually, it is the translation of sys$system which occurs in the 
message.)

I get this in a procedure when following an scp command with an ssh
command to the same destination.  Interactively, I don't get the error, 
at least not always, but always do in the procedure.

I've tried running another image between the commands, but to no avail.
