But it is not that simple.

There were also cards that DEC sold that were only supported on Windows NT 
so read the SPD for your OS version before investing in a card.  For 
instance, the SN-PBXGK-AB PowerStorm 4D10T that I have in my hand at the 
moment was marketed for Windows NT and was rejected by my Alphaserver 4100 
OpenVMS box when I tried it some years back.  But the SN-PBXGK-BB will work
with VMS - more subtle than any serpent those DEC marketers.
