I didn't think anyone would take me seriously, hence the emoji.  I'm
pretty sure that someone "retargetted" it to C at some point.  I seem
to remember Alpha SCAN some time in the distant past...possibly from
Stromasys, before they wre called Stromasys?  The fact that I couldn't
find any trace of it is probably an indication of how much interest
there is in that :-)

Rob is correct.  SCAN was open-sourced, or at the very least "released"
on the Freeware V4 CD:
