[Info-vax] Odd issue whilst editing with PuTTY

Hello,

Have my Alpha connected via a serial cable to a Win10 PC running PuTTY. When I edit a document if I push the cursor to the end of the line and then press backspace, it often (though not always) wipes out the entire line.

So for example in my login.com I edit the line that says “show user system”, pressing backspace on the final “m” deletes the text “syste”

I have uploaded a picture of it OneDrive with my PuTTY settings, hoping that explains a bit better. I’m kind of stuck editing much of anything until this gets resolved.

Basically unpredictable results are saved when editing.

Thanks

PS - Apologies if this ends up a duplicate, I thought I could email in to the group but four hours later I'm guessing that does not work.
