[Info-vax] Odd issue whilst editing with PuTTY

EDT, TPU or using what?

What if you at that moment save the file (use a copy of it) and then
reopens it? Or in other words, is it just a disply issue on the
Putty screen or is the text "syste" actually lost from the file?

That sounds like you have verified that what you see on the screen
is saved with the file, but just liked to verify that...
