What the hell do people expect the VMS engineers to say?
If they say, yeah our management shouldn't have been such idiots then that's a CLM for sure
If they say security could do with a revamp they run the risk of potentially losing sales or initiating negative feedback that might skittle the whole port before they have even had a chance to bring VMS security up to modern day hardness. They might also find themselves looking for another job
I really don't see the point at this stage of telling VSI management how stupid it was that they crapped on about VMS being the most secure etc, that ship has sailed and they are not going to walk back that statement now anyhow.
Didn't the CEO who made that remark leave the company anyhow?
Once x86 VMS is out the door then I certainly expect security once again becomes a major focus of the OS and if that doesn't happen then one would hope the voices of dissent to be loud and strong
