Short answer.....anything we do not have to port to, or support on, x86 the better, for us and our customers. You don't know unless you ask, so we did. If a large number had said "sure, we can switch to xyz", then it would have been considered - but they did not. So, we are doing it and it is planned for the August release.

We need to make moving to x86 as easy as possible. We cannot be creating unnecessary work for the users.
