It gets harder all the time. Here's the alias I had to my .tcshrc file on MacOS 10.15
so I could sftp files from my home VMSCluster:

alias vmsftp 'sftp -oKexAlgorithms=diffie-hellman-group1-sha1 -oHostKeyAlgorithms=ssh-dss -caes128-cbc'
