Did you notice that when you buy a new PC you do not get a 5.25"
floppy drive?

So if you really really need to access your 5.25 floppy drives then you
need an old PC.

If you need to access a web server via HTTPS and it only supports
protocols older than TLS 1.2, then you probably need an old browser.

The only alternative is if your new browser can be configured to
allow old protocols. I doubt Chrome can. For FireFox open
about:config search for TLS and reduce security.tls.version.min
(numeric value n means minimum is TLS 1.n-1).
