Scott, I've really got to question this statement.
Assume something is written in say, C. Not everyone uses C. Are you
saying only C programmers should use the app?
Some users are not programmers at all. Are you saying open source apps
are only for those programmers who can read the source code?
I'm not saying I don't agree a bit with your suggestion. I'm saying
that if your suggestion was the criteria for using open source apps, the
number of users of such apps would be a tiny subset of those using them
today.
