Since we are/was talking about BACKUP...

Just got a support notice from VSI regarding BACKUP.
One of the issues fixed is this one:

"If an X86 OpenVMS system disk is copied with BACKUP/IMAGE on
any OpenVMS V8.4-2L2 or earlier version, the resulting disk
copy will not boot. No error or warning messages are issued."


First mention of X86 OpenVMS in any support notice I have seen... :-)
