Well, depends what it is.  If it's straight fortran without any SMG$ stuff
it probably ports over just fine to linux to run as a web back end.  

We have an RF propagation model that runs in fortran.... you go to the website
and plug in some information, the web server runs the fortran model which
spits out some numbers and then a badly-coded java application turns the 
numbers into HTML with embedded numbers and plots and drops it on the web 
server for the user to see.
